The design is rooted in a deep understanding of Maison Chaudun—a prestigious French chocolatier—resulting in a spatial composition that faithfully reflects the brand’s character while maintaining visual coherence throughout. The ceiling was treated with soft classical gypsum detailing, evoking traditional French elegance, while a centrally placed contemporary chandelier was introduced to break the monotony and create a focal point that strikes a thoughtful balance between tradition and modernity.

The walls were clad in natural wood paneling that extended seamlessly into the integrated display units. This treatment was complemented by subtle ivory-toned gypsum framing that added depth and refinement.

At the center of the main wall, the brand’s monogram “MC” was engraved with precision, offering a quiet yet commanding presence that reinforces the store’s identity with elegant restraint.

Materials were selected through a cohesive vision that aligns with both the brand’s aesthetics and the physical constraints of the space. Natural wood was prominently used across shelving and vertical surfaces, creating a tactile warmth that elevates the sensory quality of the environment.

The seating was designed with delicate rattan accents, reinforcing the material harmony and adding an inviting texture to the space. In line with this design direction, all furniture pieces were custom-made to suit the store’s dimensions, using a muted color palette that complements the architectural finishes while ensuring the product remains visually central without overwhelming the scene.

The flooring was finished in a classic French chevron parquet, contributing a sense of historical depth and enhancing the overall cohesion of the interior. The layout was optimized through the strategic placement of seating along one wall, allowing for an uninterrupted circulation path and ensuring visitor comfort while maintaining clear visibility of the product displays.

In the central axis of the space, a display island was crafted in marble finish with a transparent glass top, flanked by finely illuminated wooden units that present the chocolate products with precision and care.

Lighting was thoughtfully layered on two levels: ambient concealed lighting to maintain an even visual tone, and integrated accent lighting within the display units to highlight the fine details of each product. This dual lighting strategy contributed to a serene, controlled atmosphere that reflects the luxury of the brand and gives each item its distinct stage.

Maison Chaudun is not merely a chocolate boutique—it is a spatial embodiment of a brand with artistic and cultural substance. Through this project, the Luxury Code team successfully delivered a design narrative that is coherent, meticulous, and distinctive, offering the brand a spatial dimension that transcends product display and becomes a complete sensory experience.
